Promedius showcases its osteoporosis screening AI technology in the Korean Osteoporosis Society 2024
On April 7, Promedius showcased its chest x-ray based osteoporosis screening model at the Korean Osteoporosis Society's Spring Annual Conference at Dragon City Hotel in Seoul, Korea. It received positive reviews for its AI solution; early detection and management of osteoporosis is considered to be crucial to prevent fractures. The lecture covered the basics of bone metabolism, as well as the current status and treatment of osteoporosis and sarcopenia.
"With our musculoskeletal imaging AI technology, Promedius will showcase new possibilities for the management of osteoporosis and sarcopenia, as well as reduce the societal cost of fractures and improve the quality of life for patients," said Hyunjin Bae, CEO of Promedius.
Promedius will further participate in the World Osteoporosis Congress in London from April 11 to 14, as well as the 12th Seoul International Endocrinology Congress of the Korean Endocrine Society and the 1st International Congress on Primary Care 2024 of the Korean Academy of Family Medicine. At the Korean Academy of Family Physicians conference, Medical Director of Promedius Dr. Miso Jang (MD, PhD) will introduce the utilization of artificial intelligence models using medical images in the medical field and the robust performance of CXR-based osteoporosis screening models.
