Promedius, a MSK and metabolic diseases specialized medical AI startup, introduced its AI solution for early detection and management of musculoskeletal and metabolic diseases, including osteoporosis, at the 12th Seoul International Congress of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SICEM) 2024 in conjunction with the 43rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Korean Endocrine Society (KES), held from April 11 to 13 at Grand Walkerhill Seoul.

SICEM aims to bring together leading endocrinologists from around the world for active academic exchanges. At SICEM 2024, a total of 1,488 domestic and international endocrinologists and researchers from 32 countries participated.

PROS® CT: MQ, introduced by Promeidus at SICEM 2024, is a solution that provides key metabolic indexes calculated by segmenting and analyzing muscle and fat areas based on abdominal CT images, providing the results in a report format. Chest X-ray based osteoporosis screening solution was also introduced, which attracted a lot of attention from national and global visitors.

Promedius will participate in the 1st International Congress on Primary Care 2024 of the Korean Academy of Family Medicine, which will be held from April 19 to 21 at The K Hotel Convention Center. At this event, Medical Director of Promedius Dr. Miso Jang (MD, PhD) will introduce the utilization of artificial intelligence models using medical images in the medical field and the robust performance of CXR-based osteoporosis screening models.
