We’ve now reached the 40th Relay Interview, and the final guest in this series. With Osteo Signal’s domestic sales underway, PROMEDIUS has begun a full-scale entry into the Korean market. To lead this initiative, a new leader has joined us: Mr. Doohwan Roh, who built his expertise in osteoporosis during his career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Q. How was your first month at PROMEDIUS?

A. Busy. (laughs) In my previous role, I was in charge of osteoporosis, so I often searched the market — and that’s when I began noticing PROMEDIUS. After reviewing the research papers, I became convinced of the company’s technological strength. Since joining, my first month has flown by, filled with work ranging from preparing for KHF and KIMES, to discussions with partners, and developing a new pricing model.

Unlike pharmaceuticals, medical device sales involve a broader range of stakeholders beyond physicians. I’ve been testing various approaches to find the right strategy. The larger roadmap is already in place, and I hope the team can gradually learn, grow, and take on their roles. For now, my immediate focus is on building domestic KOLs. Startups can be fragile, but I want to do my part to ensure this company grows sustainably and endures.
