🔎 PROMEDIUS Relay Interview Episode 39. The Bridge – Senior Researcher📝
For an AI software company, continuous research is essential to strengthen technological competitiveness. As part of this effort, PROMEDIUS recently welcomed Jemyoung Lee, Ph.D., who specialized in osteoporosis research, as a Senior Researcher. His addition has further structured and reinforced our research organization.
Q. What is your role at PROMEDIUS as a Senior Researcher?
A. I see myself as a bridge🌈 between the team leader and the researchers. My role is to ease the leader’s workload while creating an environment where researchers can fully focus on their projects. Recently, I’ve been involved in patent meetings to learn research-related processes beyond the lab, as well as international clinical research meetings where I’ve taken on follow-up tasks. Moving forward, I plan to propose and lead new research topics.
My main focus has been osteoporosis, one of the most prevalent diseases in an aging society. Unlike my previous workplace where I handled bone research alone, here I can share ideas and collaborate, which I find very rewarding. Compared to my past experience, PROMEDIUS also runs its manuals and benefits in a much more systematic way, which I truly appreciate.
Above all, I believe that ‘profitable research’ is what becomes development. Beyond performance alone, I want to generate the kind of clinical evidence hospitals can rely on — research that truly supports product adoption and sales. I also value the friendly, communicative atmosphere here and hope it continues.
Jemyoung describes PROMEDIUS as a “new beginning.”✨ Having stepped out of the graduate research lab and into his first professional workplace, he now sees research translating into real-world impact. We look forward to all that his journey will bring.
The next interview will feature Doohwan Roh from the KR Biz. team — stay tuned!
